With the success OnePlus has had with the OnePlus One, safe to say that many are looking forward to seeing what the company can come up with for the OnePlus Two. A previous rumor had suggested that it might be launched very late in 2015 or possibly in 2016 due to a delay, but there’s a chance the rumors could be false.
According to a video report from Bloomberg, reporter Rosalind Chin claims that the OnePlus Two along with a cheaper version of the OnePlus handset is expected to be launched in Q3 2015. This seems to roughly lineup with a previous report where OnePlus CEO promised the launch of the OnePlus One’s successor within 6 months which at the time of announcement made it September.
Interestingly enough this is actually the first time we’ve heard of a budget-friendly handset from the company. In fact earlier this year OnePlus stated that they could be launching two phones, one of which is the OnePlus Two, and another handset which focuses more on design, making it sound like a premium handset as opposed to a budget-friendly one.
Given that Bloomberg’s report was made from the offices of OnePlus, there is a good chance that this could be the real deal, but we’ll keep our eyes peeled for more information and update you guys accordingly.
