Just last month we posted an article which basically compiled most of the fatalities that gamers can expect from Mortal Kombat X. Given the improved graphics and the creative nature of the folks at NetherRealms, safe to say that these fatalities were particularly gruesome, making us cringe more than once during the video.
Now the folks at over at The Fine Bros. recently decided to see how the older generation would react to these fatalities. Given that for the most part, they did not have video games back in their day let alone any as violent as the Mortal Kombat franchise, so safe to say that this was something they might not have expected.
Most of them found it rather disgusting and expressed genuine disgust at the fatalities, but at the same time their reactions were still pretty funny. Some of them laughed but even those who did admitted that it was a little disturbing. One of them even felt that such graphic violence should be made illegal.
In fact Mortal Kombat’s gruesome fatalities over the years has proven to be rather controversial, but as the folks at NetherRealm recently said, there is actually a line that they would not cross. Exactly where that line is drawn is anyone’s guess based on what we’ve seen so far. In any case if you have a few minutes to spare, do check it out their reactions in the video above.
