Nokia N1 Tablet To Make Its Way Outside Of China

The Nokia N1 tablet was launched earlier this year, but unfortunately for those who were hoping to get their hands on it, the tablet was only launched in China which is a bit of a bummer for some users. However the good news is that it looks like following the success of the tablet in China, Nokia has decided to bring it to other markets.

The tablet is expected to make its way into Taiwan where come May, customers can get their hands on the device for around the $268 mark (after conversion). There is no word on whether Nokia will be bringing the tablet stateside or to other countries after this, but the fact that it is slowly expanding to other markets does look hopeful.

In any case we’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for its launch in other markets and hopefully we might see one take place in the US in the near future. Given that Nokia has announced that they will not be returning to manufacturing handsets, this could very well be one of the last Nokia devices to be launched for now.

As a quick recap for those who might have missed the announcement, the Nokia N1 is an Android-powered tablet running on Android 5.0 Lollipop with the company’s Z Launcher on top. It will feature a 7.9-inch display with a resolution of 2048×1536 and will be powered by a 64-bit Intel Atom Z3580 processor clocked at 2.3GHz. It will also feature an 8MP rear-facing camera, a 5MP front-facing camera, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage.
