NASA Chief Claims That First Contact With Alien Lifeform Set To Happen Soon

NASA’s chief scientist Ellen Stofan has a rather outlandish claim – although I am quite sure that many others would think otherwise and say that it is realistic. Just what is this particular claim of Stofan’s? Depending on how you look at it, she did share that “I think we’re going to have strong indications of life beyond Earth within a decade, and I think we’re going to have definitive evidence within 20 to 30 years.”

This happened through a panel discussion that concerned NASA’s search for habitable worlds and alien life. Stofan also continued, “We know where to look. We know how to look. In most cases we have the technology, and we’re on a path to implementing it. And so I think we’re definitely on the road.”

What about you? Do you think first contact with an alien lifeform is set to happen, or do you believe that nothing of the sort will ever happen, and that the only planet that contains intelligent lifeform out of all the galaxies in the universe happens to be good ol’ earth.
