For those who have ever tried to count calories and keep track of their diet, apps like MyFitnessPal are a popular choice. This is thanks to the app’s database of food which is updated and added to by users, meaning that all kinds of snacks and food combinations can be found within it.
The good news for avid users of the app is that MyFitnessPal has recently announced that their app has been launched for the Apple Watch, meaning that users will be able to check information about their nutrition information by looking at their wrist instead of having to look at their smartphone all the time.
Through the screens, users will be able to swipe through and get access to different information such as calories remaining, progress towards macronutrient and micronutrient goals, and how many calories they’ve earned for themselves by working out. The app will also see integration with UA Record, MapMyRun, and Endomondo which isn’t surprising given that Under Armour had acquired these companies earlier this year.
The apps are available for download via the Apple Watch App Store or the iTunes App Store on your smartphone, so if getting in shape is still one of your resolutions for 2015, then these apps could come in handy.
