However it is LG’s choice and so far based on our hands-on, it does feel pretty good. That being said it seems that Motorola has taken this opportunity to remind LG that they were here first, or at least here before LG by posting a photo on Twitter along with the caption that reads, “Letting you customize with genuine Horween leather since 2014.”
Admittedly we have to say that LG’s leather and choice of its design does look and feel better as it seems like more craftsmanship went into it as opposed to merely slapping on a piece of leather on the back. In fact prior to the handset’s launch, LG claimed that their leather took 12 weeks to complete namely due to the process. Either way we suppose to each their own, but what do you guys think? Is leather here to stay or is it merely a novelty design that will eventually fall to the wayside in favor of glass and metal?
