However as it turns out, this is not a free feature. Instead these easy fatalities will cost gamers money as it is sold as a DLC. Basically gamers can choose to buy an amount of easy fatalities. For example the DLC pack for 30 easy fatalities is being sold on the PlayStation Store for $5, so if you think it’s worth the $5 to own your opponents in a stunning fashion, then this could be worth purchasing.
We should note that this isn’t necessarily a pay to win scenario. Fatalities can only be pulled off by the victor of the round, so you will have to win the game in order to take advantage of this. The only advantage you’ll have is that instead of mashing a complicated combination of buttons, you will be able to pull it off with just a few clicks of the button.
That being said we can only imagine that some gamers can’t be too happy about it. After all one of the tenets of fighting games is having the skill to pull off long combinations and complicated moves, but if you just want to enjoy the blood and gore of the fatalities, we guess we can’t blame you.
