In less than two weeks, NetherRealm’s highly-anticipated Mortal Kombat X is set for a release and we’re sure many gamers are looking forward to getting their hands on the game. In the meantime for gamers who are still curious as to which characters are making a comeback and which characters are available, the full roster of the game has been revealed including pre-order-only characters and DLCs.
These characters include Cassie Cage, D’Vorah, Ermac, Erron Black, Ferra & Torr, Goro (which will only be available if you pre-order the game), Jacui Briggs, Jason (of Friday the 13th fame), Jax, Johnny Cage, Kano, Kenshi, Kitana, Kotal Kahn, Kung Jin, Kung Lao, Liu Kang, Mileena, Predator (which will be a DLC), Quan Chi, Raiden, Reptile, Scorpion, Shinnok, Sonya Blade, Sub-Zero, Takashi Takeda, Tanya (DLC), and Tremor (DLC).
As some Mortal Kombat fans are quick to notice, there are several characters from older Mortal Kombat games that did not make the cut, such as Smoke, Cyrax, Sheeva, just to name a few, but for gamers who are looking forward to trying out new characters, hopefully the addition of some of the new names should make for interesting gameplay.
The addition of Jason from Friday the 13th will also replace Freddy Krueger but we suppose that seems like a fair trade. Predator should also make for an interesting character to play with. Now it is possible that NetherRealms could surprise us all with more characters, but for now it looks like this is the entire list gamers can expect.
