Modern Home Is Tiny But Livable

Earlier this month, we did bring you word on how it is very possible to build an actual home with just $500 worth of recycled materials, although you can be sure that this particular abode is not going to be the Ritz Carlton. I do have a niggling feeling that such housing ideas might end up being extremely popular in the future, as here we are with another news that a lady this time around has come up with a modern and yet tiny home which has just 186 square feet of living space, as part of an effort to bypass unaffordable housing market.

While tiny homes might look cute or ugly, many would think that they are unlivable. Well, I would beg to differ, since such homes do offer a far better respite than living under the bridge. 50-year-old Isabella Mori from Vancouver worked on this home to bypass rising rents.

Approximately CAD $39,000 (US$30,995) was spent on this particular abode, where it is adequately lit up, and comes with plenty of furniture that are flexible and can “transform”, so to speak. It is enough to house a single person – and her two cats, of course, without having to spend a fortune for a condominium or a piece of landed property. What do you think of this idea?
