Microsoft has just rolled out a spanking new version of the Office 2016 for Mac Preview, which is said to do away with bug and performance issues, at the same time throw in a slew of new features. Apart from that, the company has also launched a couple of new Office 365 apps simultaneously for the iPhone, namely the Office Delve and Office 365 Video.
Brand new to Outlook in the Preview would be a “Propose New Time” option, which will allow meeting guests to offer suggestions of a new event time, and organizers can check out these proposals and make updates to the meetings accordingly. Excel will also sport a new Analysis ToolPak, in addition to a new Solver feature. Solver happened to be a Windows-only tool in the past, where it was used to hunt down an optimum value for a formula that is based on constraints imposed in other cells.
Majority of the new inclusions would ride with Word, where it will now also support macro recording, searching for online document templates, as well as altering user information settings in preferences. PowerPoint did not pick up anything major, other than a solitary tweak which happens to be better VoiceOver support. Anyone given it a go already?
