Ahead of MWC 2015, LG announced their latest smartwatch – the LG Watch Urbane. The specs of the watch is similar to that of the LG G Watch R, with the main difference being its looks, but other than that the hardware is identical. That being said we’re sure many of you guys are wondering when you can get your hands on the device?
The good news is that you won’t have to wait much longer because LG has recently announced that it is expected to go on sale later this month. In fact for the South Korean market, LG has announced that they will begin sales of the LG Watch Urbane starting this week. Other key markets are expected in the following weeks.
According to LG, “Customers in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea, Spain, the United Kingdom and the United States will be able to purchase the LG Watch Urbane on Google Store starting this month.” Pricing of the wearable has yet to be confirmed as this will vary from country to country.
As a quick recap for those who missed the initial announcement in February, the LG Watch Urbane will feature a 1.3-inch Plastic OLED display. It will be powered by a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 CPU accompanied by 512MB of RAM, 4GB of onboard storage, a 410mAh battery, and will be IP67 certified.
