If you’re after a classy-looking smartwatch, there aren’t that many options around and the LG Watch Urbane is probably one of the newer ones. That being said last week we reported that the wearable would be released this month and given that we’re almost towards the end of April, it does seem like a good time for LG to release it, and release it they have!
For those interested in picking up the device for themselves, the LG Watch Urbane has been launched on the Google Play Store. Unfortunately it isn’t available worldwide yet and will only be available in the US, UK, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, South Korea, and Spain. No word on when it will make its way to other parts of the world so we’ll just have to remain patient and keep an eye out for it.
The LG Watch Urbane is priced at $350 making it a tad more expensive than other smartwatches out there and also more expensive than the LG G Watch R, its sibling with a less upscale design, but if you’re after a premium look and feel we guess that’s the price you’d have to pay.
That being said for those who are wondering what one can expect from the device, basically it is identical to the LG G Watch R in terms of hardware. It will feature a 1.3-inch Plastic OLED display and will be powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor. There will be 512MB of RAM accompanying the device and will also feature 4GB of storage, a 410mAh battery, and will be IP67 certified.
