According to a leaked document from Verizon that was obtained by the folks at Android Spin, it seems to hint that the wearable will be launched by the carrier on the 28th of April where it will be priced at $350. There’s no way to verify if this information is accurate so we guess we’ll just have to keep our eyes peeled to see if it pans out.
It should also be noted that this is the Android Wear version of the LG Watch Urbane as opposed the LTE version of the wearable which is powered by LG’s webOS platform and is also more expensive, so if you were hoping for the LTE model you’ll have to look elsewhere for now. In the meantime for those who might have forgotten the specs, the LG Watch Urbane is basically the LG G Watch R.
It will feature a 1.3-inch Plastic OLED display and will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.2GHz. It will also be accompanied by 512MB of RAM, 4GB of storage, a 410mAh battery, IP67 certification, and will be stuffed inside a rather classy-looking body.
