Apparently LG thinks so too because according to a report from a Korean news website, it seems that the company has decided to raise their sales estimates for the LG G4 to 12 million. Previously the company had only expected to sell about 10 million units, but perhaps the initial reaction to the handset proved to be good enough for LG to raise the number by 2 million.
Whether or not the company will actually be able to achieve it remains to be seen. In the meantime for those who missed yesterday’s announcement of the handset, here’s a quick recap for you guys. The phone will sport a 5.5-inch QHD display and a slightly curved body that makes it sit snugly in your hand. Under the hood it will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 808 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and 16MP f/1.8 and 8MP cameras.
The handset is also planned for a release across the four major US carriers although the exact release date and price set by the carriers has yet to be revealed.
