There have already been many leaks relating to the LG G4. The company is yet to unveil its new flagship smartphone but many renders have appeared online over the past few weeks which give us a good look at LG’s new device. Reports coming in from Korea claim that the display on LG G4 is slightly curved, slightly being the magic word.
Don’t expect the display on LG’s next flagship device to be as curved as the LG G Flex 2. Reports claim that it’s a very subtle curve, a 3000mm curvature, which can actually be found on existing LG devices like the Spirit and the Magna.
The 3000mm curvature means that the display will be slightly curved along the Y-axis so it can’t really be compared with the drastic vertical 700mm curvature of the LG G Flex 2.
A slight curve along its height could make it easier for people to hold the device and since it won’t fall completely flat on the surface it could even add to the device’s endurance.
As far as specifications go the LG G4 is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor with 3GB RAM, it may have a microSD card slot and removable battery. The f/1.8 aperture rear camera and genuine leather back cover have already been confirmed by LG.
LG will officially announce the G4 on April 28th.
