Grand Theft Auto 5 PC release will finally allow those gamers who would rather play the title on their gaming rig get in on the action as well. In order to calm fears that perhaps PC gamers will not get access to DLC or updates at the same time as console gamers, Rockstar has said that it plans to deliver updates to GTA 5 on PC and consoles “simultaneously.”
This was revealed by John Macpherson, lead gameplay designer, in a talk with Gamespot. He said that Rockstar plans to simultaneously deliver updates to PC and consoles.
He does point out that occasionally there might be some variation on specifics from one console to another, “but PC will not be on a separate timetable to other platforms.”
Macpherson also said that the team is excited for people to play this amazing title on the PC, calling it “the ultimate version of an amazing game,” as during its development Rockstar Studios had the advantage of having a “huge pool” of knowledge considering the fact that GTA 5 has been out on consoles for a very long time.
GTA 5 for PC will finally be released on April 14th, after multiple delays, and it’s possible to preload the title now. This will come as good news to those who will pick up a copy when GTA 5 for PC is released at last.
