So you’re thinking about getting your hands on Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto 5 for the PC, but you’re wondering how the game might look across the different graphics settings. After all not everyone has the PC and the necessary hardware to run the game in its Ultra settings smoothly, but if you’re curious as to what kind of concessions you could make, then check out the video above.
YouTuber williextreme has put together a rather comprehensive video in which the different graphics settings for Grand Theft Auto 5 is being compared across the board. This ranges from Normal settings all the way up to the Ultra settings which is more towards gamers who might have a PC gaming rig with pretty impressive specs.
As expected the best settings will result in the most impressive look in the game, but even at Normal the game is still very playable. The shadows in the highest settings look the best, obviously, but the good thing is that the video will go through the different settings and shows examples if you were to disable/enable one of them, like high resolution shadows, for example.
So if you don’t have a particularly powerful PC but would still like to squeeze out the best graphics possible, then going through the different settings and knowing which to enable/disable will help. If you have some time to spare do check out the video above for the details.
