The update comes with a new search tool that lets you look for transactions within the app, and also comes with a Maps widget that will show you the merchant and the location of every transaction. This will come in handy for users who like we said, deal with a lot of small transactions and want to make sure that every transaction they’ve made is accounted for.
It will also come in handy if you want to ensure that your credit cards aren’t being used without your knowledge since presumably you should remember the locations of your purchases, so if one day you spot that your Google Wallet might be used in a location you’re not familiar with, then perhaps that could be worth investigating. After all no one likes to have their credit cards stolen, right?
The latest update for Google Wallet is available via the Google Play Store so if you have yet to get your hands on it, head on over to the store for the download.
