There is just something primal about the need for speed, where fast cars, coupled with beautiful women and men who look prim and primed with their bulging biceps, in addition to skilful driving, is a winning formula in this day and age. After all, there is nothing quite like having adrenaline pumping moments to keep you glued to the edge of the theater seat, right? The Fast And The Furious debuted in 2001, and it certainly brought the underground street racing scene to a whole new light, and it has since seen its fair share of vehicles getting wrecked in the name of entertainment – no matter how exotic a ride was, nothing was off limits.
With Fast & Furious 7 having been released recently, there is no word on the worldwide gross just yet, but we do know that there will be three races thrown into the mix, whereas I believe that the number of races will be different from using a bunch of vehicles to perform a heist of sorts. In the movie, 3 police vehicles were damaged, and a total of 15 vehicles were flipped, not too bad after all, and there are still more guns than rides with the former amounting to 91 at last count.
