Google has rolled out the latest version of Chrome, the version 42 for Windows, OS X and Linux users. The latest update will be automatically recognized by the browser, or users can also download it manually via Google, and Linux users need to install the Distro package manager.
The Chrome version 42 brings in good changes in the browser, here is the change log for the update:
There are 45 security fixes in the update, which are fully attributed to the security researchers who found the security loops. There are many security fixe, but not each of them comes with proper attribution. The security researchers have been awarded $21,500 for important security improvements that have been found and addressed in the Chrome version 42.
Also, the browser now has push API, which acts as a push notification even when the browser window is not open. The Push API will be an optional feature, which means that we can enable/disable it as per our need. Getting the Chrome Version 42 update is pretty easy and it is loaded with good stuff this time.
