Skateboards are pretty useful tools to bring you from one place to another – relatively near places, of course, in double quick time since the wheels will do the transporting, although you will first need to master the skateboard’s nuances so that you will be able to confidently move around in it. Knowing some tricks with a skateboard will also come in handy, as it might help you get out of a tricky situation at times. Having said that, is there any other way to bring the skateboard to a whole new level? Enter the Bolt electric skateboard that lays claim to be the “world’s smallest and lightest” of its kind.
This is not the first modified skateboard in the world, and neither will it be the last. Introducing electric power to the skateboard is a novel idea that the Bolt embraces, and it measures 23” long while tipping the scales at all of just 4kg, which clearly helps it to lay the claims as mentioned above.
The Bolt is the brainchild of Italian Lorenzo Cella, and over several, Cella came up with prototypes of the board, testing it to no end, resulting in the Bolt that has integrated battery and electronics within the wooden body itself. There is also a built-in USB port to charge up devices, now how about that?
