It has been a humbling and yet amazing experience for the Bloodborne team, seeing how the gaming community has embraced the title ever since it was released. It is then appropriate to bring word that Bloodborne has managed to shift more than a million copies of the game around the world, now how about that?
Of course, in addition to this particular piece of good news, tags along word on what the upcoming patch for Bloodborne would be able to offer. It was previously confirmed that the upcoming 1.03 update intends to reduce certain load times apart from introducing performance optimizations, of course. This particular patch would also resolve an issue which resulted in abnormal game behavior after many continuous hours of play.
Other (yet unknown or unmentioned) fixes will also be included. Right now, the team is working hard to ensure that a global release of the 1.03 patch is possible before the month is over, and a more specific release date will be revealed as soon as possible. After all, there are slightly more than a couple more weeks left to wait for this particular month, so it should not be too long or stretch one’s patience too thin. It does make us wonder, however, whether the 1.03 update will be able to see one defeat the game in less than an hour. [Press Release]
