The LG Stylus is a phone that we’ve heard about in the past, although we don’t really have much clue as to what it might look like. However thanks to the folks at TechnoBuffalo, they have managed to get their hands on a leaked press rendering of the handset which provides us with the clearest photo of the handset yet.
It’s a bit hard to tell what the rest of the phone looks like based on this, but from the front it does remind us of the Google Nexus 5 which was also built by LG, although this is not a bad thing as the Nexus 5 does sport a pretty nice design. The LG Stylus has been rumored to be a competitor to Samsung’s Galaxy Note series and should be the successor to last year’s LG G3 Stylus which unfortunately did not exactly launch with a lot of great reviews.
There were many who complained that unlike the Galaxy Note, LG did not focus much on the stylus portion of the handset meaning that the stylus felt like a bundled accessory, as opposed to being tightly integrated with the phone like what Samsung has done, although we suppose at the end of the day, to each their own, right?
If the rumors are to be believed, the LG Stylus this year could pack a 5.8-inch display and a 3,000mAh battery. It will also be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 610 processor and based on the timing of last year’s launch, it could probably be announced in the later part of 2015.
