Yahoo has had a long relationship with Disney/ABC Television Group and today it announced that this relationship is moving on to the next level. Now content from more shows across the Disney/ABC Television Group will be featured on Yahoo. Starting Monday, March 16th, Good Morning America is going to launch a new daily series called “Yahoo Your Day” which will feature top editors from Yahoo and will bring the company’s digital magazines to “America’s number one morning show.”
The daily series will feature top editors and experts from Yahoo, covering everything from style, beauty and health to food. Good Morning America’s weather reports will get more beautiful with integrated images from Flickr.
The company’s blogging platform Tumblr has not been left out of the fray. It will be featured in Good Morning America’s “Social Square.”
Yahoo will also deepen its collaboration with ABC News as far as major news events are concerned. This comes in time for the 2016 presidential election. Content from “Yahoo Global News Anchor” Katie Couric will also be distributed across ABC News.
Clips from several hit shows like Scandal, Grey’s Anatomy, How to Get Away with Murder, Jimmy Kimmel Live and more will be available on Yahoo Screen and Yahoo TV.
