That’s the day when the new devices are released in 20 countries around the world. In the coming weeks and months Samsung will release the devices in more countries. Major carriers in the U.S. have already confirmed when they’ll start taking pre-orders for both devices. Verizon customers should take note: Big Red’s pre-orders open on a different date.
Starting tomorrow interested customers will be able to pre-order the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge on AT&T and T-Mobile. Both carriers have also revealed how much the smartphones will cost.
Verizon has only confirmed that it will be taking pre-orders for the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge from April 1st. So far Big Red hasn’t revealed how much it will sell the two smartphones for on contract, and how much customers will have to pay on its Edge equipment installment plan.
Samsung unveiled the new flagships at Mobile World Congress earlier this month. The company’s carrier partners are already believed to have place orders for as many as 20 million units combined of both devices. Samsung’s new flagships are expected to perform well in the market.
