Despite the fact that the country’s major carriers have confirmed when they’re going to start taking pre-orders for the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge, we know that the devices won’t be released until April 10th. That’s when Samsung is going to release its two new smartphones in 20 countries around the world. However some customers who pre-ordered the Galaxy S6 Edge from T-Mobile have already received their units. Talk about being lucky.
Like AT&T, T-Mobile also started taking pre-orders for both devices on Friday, March 27th. Customers who opted for Saturday delivery have actually received the device. Those who went with overnight shipping are expected to receive their units on Monday.
It is unclear if T-Mobile has shipped out the Galaxy S6 as well early to some customers. At least a couple of people who have received their new Galaxy S6 Edge have posted photos on XDA confirming that the device was indeed shipped to them ahead of time.
Customers who order a Galaxy S6 from T-Mobile can opt for Tuesday or Wednesday shipping at this point in time. It looks like T-Mobile isn’t waiting until April 10th to send out these devices, so who knows, you just might be able to get your unit ahead of everybody else in the world.
