Dubbed Swifty, this is an app that teaches you how to make apps directly within your smartphone or tablet itself. There are over 200 tutorials on how to program using the Swift language and will cater to users with different skills and levels, right down to the beginners level where the basics on variables and data types are taught.
Now the iOS keyboard is hardly the most comfortable to type when typing out long emails or documents, so we can only imagine how frustrating it can get to type out code which uses a variety of different symbols. So what Swifty’s creator has done is to create a quiz-like interface where users can fill it in with numbers or names to help complete the code.
The app has managed to garner a lot of positive reviews on its usefulness in teaching users how to program using the Swift language, so if you’d like to check it out you can head on over to the iTunes App Store for the download. The first 13 chapters will be free and users will have to pay $2.99 to unlock the rest.
