Not everyone has an assistant that they can send running to the nearest Starbucks to pick up their favorite beverage for them whenever they want. The closest thing we can probably get to that is by pre-ordering our drinks so that when we arrive at the Starbucks outlet, it is ready for pickup.Now the good news is that if you’ve always wanted Starbucks delivery, that will soon be happening thanks to on-demand delivery service Postmates. The company has recently announced that they will be collaborating with Starbucks to offer the service to customers in the US in the second half of the year, starting with Seattle where it all began.
According to Postmates, “We are excited to announce a collaboration with Starbucks that offers customers the ultimate convenience: food and beverage ordering through the Starbucks mobile app with delivery by Postmates. Working together, we will enable Starbucks customers to order their favorite Starbucks products and have it delivered to them without leaving their home or office.”
Basically all you’d need to do is place your order via the official Starbucks app and then direct Postmates to go and pick it up for you. Pretty convenient especially when you’re looking for that caffeine fix, huh? Anyone planning on taking advantage of the service, or would you rather pick it up yourself to guarantee its freshness?
