The Saygus V2 smartphone was launched at CES 2015 earlier this year, and what made the handset such an interesting one is that not only did it feature some pretty impressive hardware under the hood, but it also had to ability to support as much as 320GB of storage, meaning that you’d basically never really have to worry about running out of space.
Unfortunately pre-orders of the handset were delayed and now it looks like the actual shipping of the handset has been delayed as well. Saygus has confirmed the delay and if you are planning on getting your hands on the device, you can only expect to see it come 22nd of May which is another two more months of waiting.
According to the company, it seems that imperfect components and an issue with the phone’s antenna design were some of the problems that caused its delay. There was also an issue with the phone’s cameras that took longer than anticipated. However the good news is that for those who have already pre-ordered the phone, the company will be throwing in a pair of SqGl headphones valued at $229 as a token of their apology for the delay.
For those who’d rather not wait a few more months and can’t be bothered with the headphones, Saygus has stated that they’d be more than happy to help you process a refund if that’s what you’re after.
