SanDisk is a well known name when it comes to higher performance memory products, so do not be surprised if you were to come across some of the more interesting memory cards that you would not have thought it possible to exist just a couple of years back. This time around, they have introduced their very first high endurance microSDXC memory card that is capable of recording up to 10,000 hours of Full HD video, now how about that? These spanking new SanDisk High Endurance Video Monitoring microSDHC/microSDXC cards happen to be specially designed for dash cameras as well as home video monitoring systems, making sure that both drivers and homeowners will be able to call upon reliable video evidence as and when required.
SanDisk has come up with a proprietary technology and process that will allow high-intensity recording, and no doubt they have put these cards through a fair number of rigorous testing. In fact, this new technology has also proven itself to be able to make its way into the 64GB2 microSDXC card that delivers up to the aforementioned 10,000 hours of Full HD recording, while the 32GB microSDHC can offer half the number of hours.
Security-minded consumers will be able to breathe easier now, knowing that they have a card that can sustain them in the long term when it comes to continuous recording scenarios. Class 10 technology is also thrown into the mix in order to deliver the right kind of speeds required to work perfectly in a range of monitoring systems. Each of these new SanDisk High Endurance Video Monitoring microSDHC/microSDXC cards will come with a two-year warranty, where they will retail for $84.99 and $149.99 for the 32GB and 64GB capacities, respectively. Do not expect them to be readily available, however, as they will arrive Stateside first before select retailers in Europe and South Korea.
