After all, pets do miss their respective masters from time to time, and they can get depressed or even experience some ill health because of lack of human interaction. It is hoped that the $1.1 million in seed funding will be able to help Petcube come up with the necessary funding in order to keep pets happy and healthy.
The Petcube Camera will be their flagship device, where owners of pets can then remotely watch over, talk to and even play with their four legged friends. It will be Wi-Fi enabled, and will sport a wide-angle camera that is controlled via Petcube’s iOS or Android mobile apps – needless to say, these apps will be free to download. Heck, it even comes with a smartphone-controlled laser pointer for that added level of remote interactivity.
