Pebble Time Steel Revealed
Pebble did make an announcement of the Pebble Time last week, but it seems that there was more than met the eye – a brand new product from Pebble has just been revealed, where it is known as the Pebble Time Steel. Judging by its name, this happens to be the stainless steel version of the Pebble Time, where apart from the more luxurious material, everything else about it would more or less remain the same, where it carries a similar user interface and software, although you do benefit from a machined metal case that will arrive in silver, gold and black finishes.
Not only that, the Pebble Time Steel would gain three more days’ worth of maximum battery life, which would bring its total potential duration to a whopping ten days, and all of it comes from a solitary charge, clearly making this the market leader among modern smartwatches where battery life is concerned.
The Pebble Time Steel will come with the very same level of water resistance, integrated microphone and a color e-paper display as with its other offerings, although Pebble has specially positioned this device to target the professional crowd. Expect the Pebble Time Steel to retail for $299 as it begins to ship later this July.
