Star Wars fans will definitely be able to identify with one of the most well loved ships in the series, and that would be Han Solo’s Millennium Falcon. Well, this illuminated 38” paper Millennium Falcon is certainly a sight to behold – and then some, when you learn that it took 4 years in total to build!
Master papercraft modeler Bernard Szukiel invested a quartet of years, squinting his eyes over tiny snips of paper as well as peeling PVA glue off of his fingers, as part of the process to churn out this masterpiece of the Millennium Falcon. Measuring 38″ in length, it is made up of 99% paper, where the remaining 1% would be a length of fiber optic cable as well as LEDs that would help light up the cabins, control consoles, and other illuminated features of the spaceship. Looking at it alone sure sends shivers down one’s spine, don’t you think so?
