Do you remember the Oppo R1C that went official earlier this year in January? Well, that smartphone will be made available worldwide in due time, where it will instead sport the moniker Oppo R1x. This particular handset will come with a high level of workmanship, where it will boast of a similar high-strength CNC frame in the vein as that of the Oppo R5. Not only that, it will also be rather svelte, but not close to record breaking proportions – measuring 6.85mm thin while tipping the scales at a mere 130 grams.
One can say that the Oppo R1x’s most eye catching feature would be the sapphire-faceted back panel. It will almost look as though it can change its colors from different angles, and this is made possible because of the UV-embossed layer which is located right below the glass, resulting in areas that sport various light-reflective capabilities.
As for the hardware specification, it will remain similar to that of the Oppo R1 international model, arriving with the likes of a 5” Pixel Eye HD screen, a a Qualcomm MSM8939 Snapdragon 615 SoC that is accompanied by a quartet of Cortex-A53 CPU cores which have been clocked at 1.7GHz, while there will be another quartet at 1.0 GHz. 2GB RAM, 16GB of internal memory, a microSD memory card slot and a 5MP camera in front with a 13MP shooter at the back round it up.
