If there was a smartphone that can be said to be a pleasant surprise to many people in 2014, perhaps the OnePlus One should be nominated as one of the candidates, especially when it arrived with such an exceptional price point after taking into consideration all of the hardware that was thrown into the mix. Oh yeah, when one also weighs the fact that there is an option to have CyanogenMod accompany the OnePlus One, that adds to the overall value all the more. Well, we have also been hearing whispers concerning the OnePlus One’s successor: the alleged OnePlus Two, for quite a bit now.
The OnePlus Two will apparently arrive with a metal chassis, where it will on the whole sport a more refined, premium styling. Sources that have spoken to Business Insider have confirmed that those changes will most likely be part of the deal, although due to the material cost involved, it will, in all probability, be a whole lot more expensive to purchase compared to its predecessor.
However, if all things go as planned, it ought to still be more affordable compared to other flagship smartphones that are in the market such as the iPhone 6 and the Samsung Galaxy S6. All in all, pricing details have yet to be revealed officially, so keep your fingers crossed! We do know that the OnePlus Two should not be announced this April though.
