Tesla founder and CEO Elon Musk announced through Twitter today that the company has a new product line to announce on April 30th. Musk didn’t reveal anything else about the product line so that’s still a bit of mystery. The announcement will take place at Tesla’s Hawthorne Design Studio on Thursday, April 30th, at 8 pm.
Musk did mention in the tweet itself that it’s not a car, so don’t expect to see a new Tesla vehicle on April 30th. The CEO has made it clear that Tesla will not be launching a new car next month, which makes this even more interesting, what could Tesla’s new product line be?
Major new Tesla product line — not a car — will be unveiled at our Hawthorne Design Studio on Thurs 8pm, April 30

No hints have been provided today so we’ll have to wait until April 30th to find out, unless there are leaks between now and then that give us an idea of what to expect.
Musk did say last month that Tesla could soon launch a stationary battery pack that will be capable of powering an entire house. Perhaps that’s what the company will unveil next month.
Regardless of what the new product line is, Musk’s tweet did wonders for Tesla stock today. It was trading at around $182 and as soon as the tweet went out the stock jumped to $191. It’s currently hovering around that.
