It does seem that there is the possibility of a new low end or entry level Lumia handset that is being prepared for a release some time down the road. After all, the Lumia Conversations blog did put up a teaser on where there is a rather obvious hint dropped that points in the direction of a new low end Lumia. As to how soon, who knows? It could very well be tomorrow for all you and I could care. After all, their post has been titled “The Lumia Story continues”.
In that post, it mentioned, “Intrigued? Come back tomorrow, March 19th, at 8am UK time to find out more.” Whether that will be an announcement or an official reveal of a handset remains to be seen, but we do know that you can take that as a positive sign that the Lumia family of devices is just about to get a wee bit larger – at least with the addition of one more member, so to speak.
Since Nokia/Microsoft has more or less taken a similar route when it comes to teasing future entry level Lumia handsets, chances are this might just be another Lumia device that will be easy on your bank account – which is a good thing, really, taking into consideration the economic climate of many countries worldwide.
