Not all smartphones are created equal, and it is important to remember that one would have to have a decent apps ecosystem as well as design that is pleasing to the eyes in order to be a success. Having said that, the upcoming ZTE Nubia Z9, which is set to be revealed some time later this month, has been caught in the wild, in higher resolution images, too, and are being put up on Twitter while depicting a form factor that would have more or less done away with the bezel.
It remains to be seen whether the leaked images of the ZTE Nubia Z9 happen to hail from an internal source by purpose rather than accident. Still, fans of the upcoming handset would not complain either way, as long as they get to whet their appetite with what is to come. The screen does seem to have shed off just about all of its bezels, and the images do point to what looks like the rear side of the device, where it does have a very close resemblance to the aluminum frame that can be found on the glass back of the ZTE Nubia Z9 Max – a handset that made its appearance at the recently concluded Mobile World Congress 2015.
I suppose a wee bit more patience is required before the ZTE Nubia Z9 is revealed to all and sundry, in all probability at the March 26 event.
