LG, the South Korean consumer electronics giant that has managed to sell somewhere between 6 to 7 million handsets of the LG G3 smartphones, intends to sell as many as 10 million LG G4 smartphones for this year alone. This would definitely be quite a step up in the right direction, although it remains to be seen whether LG will be able to meet such a lofty target, especially when you take into consideration the number of “challengers” that the LG G4 would have on the market by the time it is released.
An LG official did mention that there are concrete plans to arrive at this particular target, where the company will do its part to invest in additional promotional effort in key locations all over Europe, the US, and South Korea, of course. The LG G4, rumored to come with a fingerprint sensor and a 3K display, has already managed to impress major carriers and top outlet channels throughout Europe – or so the LG spokesperson revealed. Well, we will only know the hardware nitty gritty for sure by the time the handset is announced later this spring. Do you think that the LG G4 has what it takes to be able to hit the sales target? Only time will tell.
