LG Sends Out Invites For 28th April Event, Possible LG G4 Launch

The LG G4 is the company’s upcoming flagship smartphone and given the success of the LG G3, many are probably looking forward to seeing what LG might have in store for us. The good news is that the wait could soon be coming to an end. LG has recently sent out invites to various press outlets for an event they will be hosting on the 28th/29th of April.

The event is expected to take place across multiple countries at the same time which might explain the difference in date due to different time zones. This includes New York, London, Paris, Seoul, Singapore, and Istanbul. The invite itself is rather minimalist and features the tagline, “See the great, feel the great”. It also shows a leather design at the back which has us wondering f the LG G4 could use some kind of faux leather design which definitely doesn’t seem to be in line with recent leaks.

In fact if the rumors are to be believed, the LG G4 is said to feature a metal body, although that might be a feature reserved for the larger LG G4 Note. In any case the April event pretty much confirms the earlier rumors in which the handset was originally pegged for a Q2 launch so we suppose a launch in April makes sense.
