lg-l90-lollipopIt cannot be denied that the LG L90 happens to be one of the more affordable smartphones out there that was released one year back, where it sported a 4.7” display, running on a Snapdragon 400 processor, accompanied by an 8MP shooter while running on Android 4.4 KitKat as the mobile operating system of choice. It is hence not surprising at all to equate this with the same handset as that of the LG G2 mini, save for the fact that it will have front keys rather than the iconic rear control deck. It looks as though LG has decided to up the ante by offering the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the dual SIM model of the LG L90, with India being the first market to enjoy this ‘benefit”.

This particular update will be made available to the masses Over The Air (OTA), where it will weigh in at approximately 780MB – which means that you would do well to download this over a Wi-Fi network rather than to rely on your mobile data, not to mention making enough space available on the handset itself while ensuring that the battery has enough juice to go through the entire works. With this update installed, expect to see Material design across the interface, with the Optimus UX acting as the “skin” for just about everything though.
