flex-2-review-31There are some handsets that are clearly designed for business users and will come with more secure features. It might also be a bit rugged since the business user might travel frequently, and might also come with productivity apps preloaded onto it. Those aren’t really features that the LG G Flex 2 comes with but it seems that LG is targeting the business user all the same.

According to a report from Focus Taiwan, LG’s CEO and President of Taiwan Jee Hyung Lee revealed that the handset was aimed at the business user aged 30-45 years old. This was revealed during the handset’s launch in the country, making Taiwan one of the three countries (including South Korea and the US) that is selling the phone at the moment.

According to Lee, he expects that the company will sell as many as 20,000 units in Taiwan this year. It’s actually a rather low number but given the handset’s somewhat unique form factor, we reckon it might not necessarily be a phone for everyone. We’re not sure what it is about the phone that might make it appealing to business users, but apparently that is their target demographic.

The LG G Flex 2 was released a little over a week ago on Sprint where the carrier was charging over $500 to buy it outright. The handset is the successor to last year’s LG G Flex and comes packed with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 810 chipset under its hood.
