Aonuma has uploaded a video on the social network, in order to tell the fans that development team is working hard to create the best user experience for the game. He also mentioned that rather than pestering over the release date, they’re taking more time to be sure that the game graphics live up to its potential and expectations, the company wants it to be, “the best game it can possibly be.”
Although nobody is pushing Nintendo to rush with Zelda, if they want more time to create the best gaming experience. It won’t cause an apocalypse if the game is released in the early or mid early 2016, and it will certainly turn out be as good as the title. Previously too Nintendo seemed unable to release the Wii U’s Super Smash Bros before year’s, but they successfully rolled it out. We did have our hopes high with Zelda’s release within this year, but the company made it clear that the team is working diligently in getting it out in the next 8 months or so.
The delay in the release of Zelda might act as a huge loss for Nintendo as Wii U has not received much of constant hits. Last year too, Nintendo managed to get a good collection of exclusives, but that did not help them to compete with Sony and Microsoft, MSFT -0.58% competitors. Now, talking about this year, Xbox One has already scored with Ori and the Blind Forest, likewise, PS4 also has Bloodborne up its sleeve. Whereas, Nintendo has only got Kirby game and the Mario Party 10.
The company also announced that the game will not even be displayed at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) this year. Sigh.
