Super Mario is the most popular plumber around the world, but even the super hopper couldn’t stop the leaks to surface within Nintendo.
It appears that, A Reddit user recently uploaded an image of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door for the Nintendo 3DS, however, the image has been taken down from the website. Thanks to some ninjas on Imgur, some of the images and GIFs are still there to take a look.
All being said, It is hard to make out if it is a fake upload, or an authentic revelation. Though It does raise a series questions, first one being that how did the uploader manage to catch hold of the game. The information will stay under many assumptions until Nintendo comes up with a clarification, or from the uploader.
As many loyal Nintendo fans would recall the alleged leaks of Rayman “Super Smash Bros.” 3DS DLC, which surfaced a month ago, unfortunately, the leak was proven baseless. The same could be the case with this leak about Paper Mario, as the title screen does not display the game development team’s name.
Nintendo CEO, Satoru Iwata, recently mentioned that the company would be investing in a low-budget remake software specific to the 3DS. As “Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door” was initially released on GameCube in the year 2004, the fresh leak seems in sync with that.
