The iPhone 6 Plus is a huge phone with a 5.5-inch display, and the iPhone 6 at 4.7-inches might be considered a bit unwieldy for some users as well. That being said using it with one hand can be tricky, unless you’re blessed with large hands or a thumb long enough to stretch across its display.
However if you don’t have big enough hands and are having trouble using your iPhone 6/6 Plus, designer Kyle Staebell has launched a Kickstarter campaign for an iPhone case that he is calling the “Greatest Case”. It doesn’t come with any hi-tech features and neither is it made of particularly luxurious materials, but what it can do is help users manage their large devices with just one hand.
How does it work? Basically there are cutouts at the back of the case in which your fingers can grip. With this grip, your thumb has more room to stretch which in turn should allow it to reach the upper corners of your phone with ease. Of course if you have exceptionally small hands this might still be an issue, but if you have average-sized hands this case could be worth checking out.
The case will be made from either plastic or a blend of copper and plastic and will support both the iPhone 6 Plus and the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, depending on your preference. It’s a clever idea and if you’d like to pledge your support to the project, head on over to its Kickstarter page for the details.
