This particular handset has been earlier rumored, although it was then known as the HTC One M8i. What makes the HTC One M8s different from the current HTC One (M8)? For starters, while the HTC One (M8) will ship with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 SoC, the new One M8s will arrive with a mid-range Snapdragon 615 SoC instead.
This 64-bit SoC will feature an octa-core CPU, which comprises of a quartet of Cortex-A53 cores that have been clocked at up to 1.7GHz, alongside another four Cortex-A53 cores which have been clocked at 1GHz. While nothing is official just yet, such information hails from HTC’s Benelux arm in Europe, hence, one should be able to come across the black and white in due time.
