Some of us might only see the need to own one wearable device, but if you think that different wearables are for different occasions, you’re in luck as Fitbit has recently enabled multiple tracker syncing on its mobile app. Prior to this, users who had more than one Fitbit tracker had to continuously pair and unpair their trackers if they wanted to sync it with their account.
However now that the backend has been enabled, users won’t need to go through that troublesome process anymore. But why have multiple trackers in the first place, you ask? Fitbit has different types of trackers, like the Surge which seems more like a smartwatch than a fitness band. They also have the Charge which is more like a fitness band than a watch.
Some users might want to keep tracking their activities without it clashing with their style, so perhaps on more casual outings, they might turn to the Surge and while at the gym they might use the Charge. It will also allow users to sync the data gathered from the Fitbit Aria, the company’s smart weighing scale.
Like we said this is a backend update so users will not need to update their Fitbit app as it should have been enabled already, so start syncing away!
