We have some good news today for Formula 1 fans. Codemasters has confirmed when the next title in its F1 series is going to arrive. This will be the first time that an F1 title is available on the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One. Codemasters today confirmed the F1 2015 release date and revealed that the title will be available for PC gamers as well.
PlayStation 4 owners have been able to play F1 2013 through the PlayStation Now game streaming service. However the streaming service is only available in selected markets so many PS4 owners have just had to wait for the new title to arrive.
A few weeks back we saw a leaked presentation which confirmed that Codemasters will be releasing a new title in this series. At that time the developer didn’t reveal details about the new title.
Today it has. F1 2015 is powered by an all new engine. It comes with the new championship season and new pro season modes. 2014 FIA Formula One World Championship will be playable as well. Gamers will notice improved handling in physics in all aspects of the car.
F1 2015 also includes a broadcast-style presentation as well as voice integration with the PlayStation Camera and Kinect. Players will be able to ask questions about weather, race information and even request a tyre change.
Codemasters will release F1 2015 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the PC on June 12th, 2015.
