Remember how Sprint was the only carrier to release the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for Samsung Galaxy Note 4 up till now? Well AT&T is giving its customers a reason to be happy today. Ma Bell is finally rolling out the Galaxy Note 4 Android 5.0 Lollipop update. As always it is being rolled out over-the-air and users will automatically receive a notification on their device when it goes live in their region.

The update is a big one. It comes in at 1.2GB so ensure that you’re hooked up to a strong Wi-Fi connection before downloading the update. There should also be ample charge in the battery so that your device doesn’t die during the download or installation process.

Lollipop for the AT&T Galaxy Note 4 brings everything that comes as part and parcel of Android 5.0 Lollipop. There are a lot of visual interface tweaks, a couple of new features, and many improvements to the overall system performance.

The official changelog from AT&T also mentions “reactivation lock,” without really describing what it does. The update also adds the Find My Mobile service to AT&T Galaxy Note 4.

AT&T has started rolling out the update today. It should not take more than a couple of days for Android 5.0 Lollipop for the Galaxy Note 4 to be available across all regions.
