For example prior to the price hike, Apple Canada was selling the unlocked iPhone 6 from $749-$969. However now thanks to the price hike, the unlocked iPhone 6 in Canada is priced higher at $839-$1,099, so if you wanted to get your hands on a cheaper iPhone, yesterday would have been the best day to do so.
Other Apple products like the Thunderbolt Displays and MacBooks have been affected as well. The price changes will vary depending on your country, but basically they are slightly more pricey now. Some of the countries affected by the price increase include Canada, Australia, New Zealand, France, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Portugal, just to name a few.
Granted they are more expensive now than they were before, but the new prices are meant to help reflect a consistent level of pricing across countries. This will apply should the US dollar weaken as well, but for now we guess customers will just have to get used to the new prices.
